We went to Dijon for the day today, and I must say we were a little disappointed. It was not as architecturally stunning as I had envisaged it would. Yes there were some nice buildings with the lovely painted roofs and the wooden beams on the front, but the majority was just new shop fronting, I guess it was just not what we were expecting. We did however manage to find the Maille mustard shop which is definitely worth a visit. Ever kind of mustard you could think of or not think of was there. We came home with a few little jars, one was mustard with a hint of paprika which gives it a nice smoky flavour.
