My Dad and I thought we would try out some of the local cycle rides, they didn’t have any on-road routes so we opted for the mountain biking ones thinking that the easier ones should be alright! The one we did was classed as very easy. Well we certainly won’t be trying out the very difficult, we thought that being a family orientated campsite that they wouldn’t be too hard, but it was some fairly tough terrain. Some of the ride was in wooded areas, and some on farm/country tracks but quite a large portion of this ride was actually on the road. Although this didn’t mean there were less hills to be fought.
The route wound through lovely rural areas and we were barely passed by any cars so it was great.
